How to download Google Maps photos on a computer
- Open the place on Google Maps and copy the link from the address bar — or tap Share, then Copy link.
- Paste it above and press Get photos. The place's photos appear as a grid.
- Press Download on any photo, or Download all to save the whole set.
How to download Google Maps photos on your phone
- Open the Google Maps app and pick the place you want photos of.
- Tap Share, then Copy link. The link looks like maps.app.goo.gl/…
- Open this page in your phone's browser, paste the link into the box above and tap Get photos.
- Tap Download on any photo. Android saves it to the Downloads folder. iPhone saves it to the Files app — open the photo, tap Share, then Save Image to put it in Photos.
Three kinds of link all work
- Place link google.com/maps/place/… — gets the photos of the whole place.
- Short link maps.app.goo.gl/… — the link from the Share button on a phone.
- Single photo link — open a photo on Maps and copy the link to get that exact photo at full resolution.
Why it is the original
Google Maps shows shrunken previews so pages load fast. This tool fetches the original: for one photo of Rose Square in Da Nang, the preview in the link weighs 23 KB, while the original is 2.8 MB at 3024 × 4032 pixels.
How many photos does a place have?
The tool counts every real photo in the place's gallery, so the number you see is the number you can download — not an estimate. Busier places have more photos. Measured on 11 September 2026:

The grid shows 20 photos at a time to keep the page light. The total appears as soon as the tool finishes counting — about a minute for a place with a thousand photos.
360° photos, satellite images and Street View
360° photos that people uploaded to a place are included and download as originals with their 360° data intact, so 360° photo viewers open them as panoramas you can turn. Dragon Bridge has two of them; the largest is 8704 × 4352 pixels.
Street View imagery taken by Google's cars, satellite images and videos are not part of a place's photo gallery, so the tool cannot download them.

Photos on Google Maps are taken and uploaded by business owners and ordinary users. Copyright belongs to the photographer — not to Google, and not to 4pdf.net.
Saving photos for reference, trip planning or recovering your own business photos is common. To republish a photo or use it in advertising, ask the photographer for permission.
4pdf.net does not store photos: they go straight from Google to your device and are not kept on our server. The photo list for a visit stays in memory for a few hours, then is deleted.
Frequently asked questions
Is downloading Google Maps photos free?
Yes. Viewing photos, downloading one or downloading all is free, needs no sign-in and does not use your daily download allowance. To prevent abuse, each IP address can download a limited number of original photos per hour.
Are the downloaded photos really full quality?
Yes. You get the original file the photographer uploaded, not the shrunken preview Google Maps shows — for example 3024 × 4032 or 4536 × 8064 pixels. The original size is shown under each photo in the grid.
Can I download every photo of a place?
Yes. Press Download all to save every photo — the tool first fetches the photos not yet shown in the grid. Accounts with credits can download the whole set as one ZIP file.
Why does the tool say it could not get any photos?
Usually the place has no photos yet, or the link is a search or directions link rather than a single place. If the link is right and it still fails, Google may be limiting requests for a moment — try again in a few minutes.
